Last year’s Wish Tree campaign showed that this really makes a difference!

The in-kind and monetary donations collected from our colleagues actually reach the places where they are urgently needed—locally, and among people and animals who, for a variety of reasons, find themselves in difficult circumstances.

Whether it’s at the Sterntaler Children’s Hospice in Dudenhofen, the animal shelter in Ettlingen (where we’ve now made our second donation of pet food), or the Karlsruhe Food Bank just around the corner in the Rhine Harbor—everywhere we’ve delivered donations, we’ve met people who are dedicated and passionate about helping those in need.

• “In addition to caring for children with life-shortening illnesses, we also place a strong focus on their siblings, who are often neglected in everyday life,” says Beate Däuwel of the Sterntaler Children’s Hospice. Thanks to the Wunschbaum donation of 825 euros, three wonderful Sterntaler therapy sessions can now be provided.
