Merry Christmas! Snow Globes on Tour

Top quality from two traditional companies

When two traditional companies located at the same street in Vienna enter into a collaboration, the result can only be exceptional.

This year, Kraus & Naimer and its almost neighbor, the Original Viennese Snowglobe Manufacture, have been working together on a special project.

Does the world's smallest cam switch (model CA4N) fit into an original Viennese Snow Globe? The answer is yes! And the end result is quite impressive.

"Merry Christmas" was translated into 13 languages and lasered onto the faceplates of the cam switches. Then, the finished switches were placed into the Snow Globes by the owner, Sabine Perzy II, together with her team.

Snow Globes on Tour

After a short (or sometimes rather long) trip, the hand-made Snow Globes arrived at their final destinations: At our 21 sales agencies located all around the globe.

We are especially happy about the PHInominal pictures we got from our interational colleagues - their creativity had no limits! We received motives ranging from traditional Dutch wooden shoes ('klompen') to the Canadian timber wolf and the tūī bird, native to New Zealand.

Made in Austria - Quality since 1900 & 1907

The Original Viennese Snowglobe Manufacture and Kraus & Naimer have a lot in common - not only their addresses.

The Snowglobe Manufacture was established bei Erwin Perzy I in 1900, an inventor and mechanic for surgeon tools after an itial phase of experimentation. Today, the family business is successfully led by Sabine Perzy II as the fourth generation of the family business.

Only seven years later, in 1907, Lorenz Naimer and Franz Kraus started their research in the field of electrical special machinery and founded our company in a small cellar in Vienna. Over the years, Kraus & Naimer turned into a well-known global corporation and is now successfully led by Joachim (Ted) Laurenz Naimer as the third generation of the family business.

As you can see, knowing the importance of high-quality work in combination with a welcoming family atmosphere pays off.

Kraus & Naimer says: Thank you!

We would like to express our gratitude to Ms. Perzy and her team for their excellent work and to our colleagues for their creative photos.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our customers and business partners for the excellent cooperation throughout the year and wish everyone a great start into the year 2023.

PS: Yes, you are correct. You know the castle in the picture from Downton Abbey.

Happy Holidays!
