This switch series was aimed to achieve a wide range of applications particularly in the field of very low power, i. e. calibration-, control- and semiconductor circuitry as well as contactor- and relay controls.

Fully enclosed stages with optional gold contacts and self-cleaning H-bridge design with a cross-wire contact system guarantee very high switching reliability, even in chemically aggressive, dusty or otherwise polluted environments.

Push/Turn interlock for radial and/or axial contact operation:
Contacts can be operated by either turning or pushing the switch handle or a combination of both movements. 'Push-to-turn' operation can be specified. This feature allows for very compact integration of multiple functions into one switch; simultaneous activation of multiple functions becomes possible; electrical interlocks can be eliminated.

The DHR-, and DKR-series is designed for connection by ring type terminals.
