When the application requires a large number of contacts or if more than 12 switch positions are needed, the switches of the A-Series are the answer.

In spite of their minimal depth they allow switch developments with up to 36 positions. Their current rating ranges from 6A to 25A. An A-Series switch can comprise up to 12 stages. If a switch development requires more than 48 contacts, several switches can be coupled in series or driven in parallel by tandem drives. Typical applications are multi-step switches with numerous poles.

Beside the standard double-break contact system the A-Series can also be fitted with self-cleaning H-bridge contacts, even gold-plated, to combat adverse environmental conditions or to control extremely low currents and voltages.
