This new generation of switch disconnectors is the latest development from Kraus & Naimer and is described as the most flexible disconnect range in their class.

The new main switches of the KC-series are equipped with tension clamps and distinguish themselves, like all Kraus & Naimer main switches, by a compact design and at the same time with high AC-23A switching capacity as well as very large clearance and creeping distances. The outstanding contact force of the tension clamps recommend the switches for unusual conditions at shock and vibration. This innovative connection system impresses by its simple, safe handling and short wiring time. Comfortable wiring of the fingerproof (IP20) terminals is ensured by a 60º displacement of the clamps to the plane of wiring. The switches of the KC-series are available for 7.5 - 16 kW according to AC23A, 400V, and 16-32A thermal current. The terminals are stainless and acid resistant.

The new door clutches with locking handle M800/M810 are complying with all requirements of the IEC and in combination with an additional padlock device mounted on the switch itself also with UL508A.

The new door clutches are convincing by their simple and robust design while featuring a compact unit.

The popular single hole mountings of Kraus & Naimer have been extended by another 2 designs. Effective immediately Kraus & Naimer cam switches from 20 to 32 Amps and switch disconnectors from 16 to 80 Amps are available with monolithic rectangular escutcheon plate frames in 2 different sizes.

The modern design and the simple installation prevent you from awkward installation of additional legend plates. The new design is also available with many optional extras as padlock devices or key operates.

Modern and user-friendly adjustable shaft extensions M004D (Kraus & Naimer profile) and M004E (square profile) are available in switch size S3 now. Additionally, all sizes of these optional extras are equipped with self tapping screws.

Switches of the new CL-series are supplied with IDC terminals (Insulation Displacement Connection) instead of conventional screw type terminals and provide enormous advantages during wiring. The unprepared conductor is only inserted into the terminal and by closing a slide with a screwdriver wiring is completed. Stripping and crimping as well as tightening of terminal screws is no longer required. CL-switches reduce installation time substantially, which translates to significant cost savings. The terminals are stainless and acid resistant.

Kraus & Naimer presenting a new compact 125A switch (respectively 45kW at 3x 380 - 440V, AC-23A. The new switch type is available as 3, 4, 6 and 8 pole ON/OFF switch, and as a 3 or 4 pole double throw switch.
The 3 and 6 pole ON/OFF switch could be supplied with solid neutral terminal or ground terminal, which are integrated into the switch body.

The KG105 base mounted switch feature a 2-hole mounting as well as a "quick mount" designed for standard DIN rails according to EN 50022.

Kraus & Naimer has developed a wire shield carried through system for its KL and KS enclosures. This system is available for KL and KS enclosures in size S0, S1 and S2 and allows the uninterrupted leading through of the wire shield.
